RKPO Green Resort, Punakha: Review

We went to enchanting Bhutan in February 2017.  Our itinerary took us to three cities - Paro, Thimphu and Punakha. In each of these cities, we stayed in good premium hotels that made our trip even more enjoyable. However, our favourite resort was the RKPO Green Resort in Punakha. The resort is green, literally. The exteriors are painted green and are adorned with typical Bhutanese paintings, giving it the name. Here is our review of the RKPO Green Resort, Punakha.

Bhutan is beautiful, regardless of the season.

The maximum temperature would be about 15 degrees Celsius and the minimum would be close to 0 degrees Celsius. It's time to take out the winter gear that is seldom used in India. So, here is a lit of stuff that's made its way into our bag...

Bhutan: Pretty Paro

Paro: Calm, laid back valley of Bhutan …by Girija MR Anyone travelling to Bhutan can’t miss Paro. They might skip Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan. But they can’t miss Paro for two reasons. One, Bhutan’s only one international airport is in Paro. Yes! It is not in Thimpu but in Paro. Second, Even if you are not travelling by air, how can one miss Tiger Nest Monastery after travelling to Bhutan? Bhutan’s iconic monastery...
