This post is long overdue. I wanted to understand a little more about the stars (people and horses) behind the show, and thus, its has taken much longer than expected. Sooner, the better...so that you can add this attraction to your itinerary. We are sure you would enjoy and evening at the Fakasel Horse Park. Thumbs up from our side!

Janamashtmi – Dahi Handi and Human Pyramids: Photoblog

Janamashtmi marks the day when Lord Krishna was born and is celebrated with great fervour across India. The next day after Janamashtmi, the Western part of the country celebrates Dahi Handi. Earthen pots full of butter milk and butter, that are dear to baby Krishna, are hung at a height of over 10 meters. Youngsters form pyramids and try to reach the earthen pot, smash it and stake claim to a bumper prize.

Throw in some bubbly and a cheese platter and I would pray for time to stand still.

Bangkok Safari World: Reasons not to go!

Ankur and I have been to Bangkok a couple of times. However, never had we explored the city from a ‘kid-friendly’ point of view. This time, Ankur’s teenage niece and nephew accompanied us. We checked with a few friends before drafting our itinerary. Each one of them recommended the ‘Bangkok Safari World’ and insisted that we spare one full day for the excursion. Our friends and their little ones had enjoyed the place and thus,...
